  • Awarded 'Best Use of Google Cloud' for Summry, a web app that uses Google鈥檚 NLP and Speech-to-Text tools to transcribe and summarize lectures in any format.
  • Summry offers a solution by summarizing hour-length videos into 1-page study guides, allowing students to review lecture material more conveniently, comprehensively, and efficiently.
  • Competed with 1500+ participants at Southern California鈥檚 largest collegiate hackathon organized by UCLA.
  • UB Hacking 2021

    November 2021

  • Awarded 'Lead-a-Newbie' prize for PickyEatr, an app that highlights food on a menu based on dietary specifications.
  • We developed an app that uses Optical Character Recognition and Google Firebase to analyze an image of a restaurant menu and highlight options that one can eat based on their dietary restrictions.
  • CalHacks

    October 2021

  • Awarded 3rd place for InstaPresent, an automated real-time presentation generator.
  • InstaPresent uses your voice to generate content to appear on your screen in a presentation in real-time. It can retrieve images and graphs, as well as making relevant titles, and summarize your words into bullet points.
  • Competed with 2000+ participants internationally at the world's largest collegiate hackathon organized by University of California, Berkeley
